How
long will my assignments last? |
|
Your assignments will
last as long as you commit to staying. tempsPLUS-Medical typically
offers two different assignment time frames.
- Shorter term assignments
that typically last up to 8 weeks
- Longer term assignments,
which are generally 13 weeks or longer
When it comes to length
of assignment, once again, you're the boss. We will make you aware

Will
I be guaranteed a forty-hour workweek? |
|

types of assignments are available? |
|
We have a myriad of assignments

What
happens once I have selected an assignment? |
|
Once you have selected
a specific assignment, your tempsPLUS-Medical Coordinator will work
directly with you and the facility that you have selected so that
they have an opportunity to review your background and areas of expertise.
Your tempsPLUS-Medical Coordinator will arrange an over-the telephone
interview between you and the hiring supervisor at the facility you
have selected. This is a good time for you to have a prepared list
of questions concerning the unit where you will be working, as well
as any other questions that will make you feel more comfortable and
prepared to take on your new assignment. Once everyone feels comfortable
we take steps to get you on your way. |

How
do I get to my assignment? |
|
We have found that it
is probably best for you to drive to your new assignment. That way
when you arrive, you are more mobile and you have the opportunity
to explore and better enjoy your new surroundings. If you prefer to
leave your car at home, that is fine too. Whatever method of transportation
that you choose, tempsPLUS-Medical will help you by providing a generous
travel allowance. |

type of housing can I expect when I arrive? |

work with a minimal amount of commuting time. Our traveling staff
typically share a well-appointed two-bedroom apartment with another
traveler who is working in the same area. tempsPLUS makes sure that
each apartment is fully furnished and all rent and utilities are paid
by tempsPLUS. |
